The City of Chubbuck is offering recycling services to any resident who wishes to
participate. The details of the recycling plan are listed below:
-
Each participating household will receive a 96-gallon cart in a different color than the regular garbage cart.
-
Recycling carts are emptied on the 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, with no service on a 5th Tuesday, if it occurs.
-
Each recycling cart will have a charge of $5.00 per month for this service.
-
Acceptable: paper (cardboard, office/computer paper, newspapers, magazines, phone books), aluminum, copper, brass, radiators, tin cans and household plastics (#1 through #7) could be mixed in the container.
-
NOT acceptable: batteries, oil, glass, chemical bottles, hardback books, lead, steel, iron, appliances, auto exteriors and tires.
If you are interested in receiving this service, please download, complete and sign the
Recycling Sign Up Form. A five dollar monthly fee per cart will be added to your existing
utility bill. Turn in completed forms with your utility bill or at Chubbuck City
Hall.
The City also offers bulk recycling drop-off containers at Chubbuck City Hall
and Chubbuck Elementary School. The same requirements for acceptable recylable
materials applies to these larger containers as to the residential carts listed above.
