The City of Chubbuck observes most of the recognized federal holidays.  Emergency services (Police/Fire/Ambulance) are not affected by holiday schedule.  Please reference the table below to see the holidays, the date(s) observed and the impact on your public services.

* Please note that most City employees work on a Monday through Friday schedule.  For these employees, when a holiday falls on a nonworkday -- Saturday or Sunday -- the holiday usually is observed on Monday (if the holiday falls on Sunday) or Friday (if the holiday falls on Saturday).

** Garbage collection will be delayed for only three holidays - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years day.  If your regular collection day falls on the day of the holiday or any subsequent day of the week, your collection will be one day late.  For example, if your regular collection day is Wednesday and New Years Day is on a Tuesday, your collection day will be moved back to Thursday.  If you have further questions, contact the Sanitation Department.

All Chubbuck City Offices are open to the public from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Please note that business days are Monday through Friday of each week excluding holidays.  As an example, if you are told you will receive something in three business days on a Friday, you should expect the item on the following Wednesday.  For further information, contact the Chubbuck City Clerk's Office.
