OUR COMMITMENT TO ONGOING TRAINING
|
This agency strongly believes that continuing education is one of the keys to providing the best law enforcement services possible.
To that end, we attempt to sponsor as many classes for our employees and employees of other agencies as possible.
All future classes along with registration information will be listed on this page.   Please check back often as new classes are
frequently added.
In addition, this department attempts to include the community in training whenever possible and those
opportunities will also be posted as soon as they become available.

CLASSES AND TRAINING OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC
|
When the business community and local law enforcement come together to discuss current
criminal activity and offenders in the area, a tremendous difference can and will be made.
This program gives businesses and local law enforcement the opportunity to share information
concerning specific individuals or groups involved in criminal
activity.
This shared information will give businesses the ability to detect criminal activity earlier, generate more arrests and convictions,
and to be more profitable due to reduced losses.
All business owners, managers, and loss prevention employees are invited to attend.
Topics that are typically discussed include robbery prevention and response, current shoplifters,
anti-counterfeiting programs, check fraud, credit card fraud, return fraud,
and much more…
The next meeting will be held at the Pine Ridge Mall Community
Room on 07/28/2010
at 8:30 am. Please attend if interested.
For more information or to be added to the electronic mailing list, email
Detective Higgins.
Thank you.
