The Chubbuck Police Department would like to remind you that Idaho State Law makes no distinction between
motor scooters and motorcycles. In other words, scooter riders must have the proper motorcycle endorsement on
their drivers license or they can be ticketed.
In addition, all motorized vehicles operated on the public roadway must, at minimum, be:
- Operated by a licensed driver
- Insured with at least liability insurance
- Currently registered and titled
- Equipped with required features such as dual-beam headlights, turn signals and rear-view mirrors
Please do not take to the roadway until you have all of the above requirements in place.
